    Chief Whip
Wasilat Abeke Dakeje takes pride in being a member of Olumo Progressive Association, Canada (OPAC). Hailing from Gbagura, and Agbole Afaasagi Kobiti Kenta Oloko, I attended CLI College of Business Health and Technology in Toronto, Canada, specializing as a personal support worker. My commitment to making a positive impact led me to join OPAC in 2021 to advance and safeguard cultural heritage, promote economic, social, and educational development, and facilitate meaningful dialogue among all Egba and yewa indigenes in Canada. My social work background will empower me to play a vital role in organizing community outreach programs. My genuine concern for people's welfare and mutual interest prompted me to run for the election, resulting in my emergence as the Chief Whip of the OPAC. I am dedicated to building meaningful connections and contributing to the growth and success of OPAC by promoting, propagating, and preserving our cultural heritage within the dynamic community in the diaspora. Throughout my membership with OPAC.
