Election process

1. Notice of election — The electoral committee issues a formal notice at least 60 days before the AGM, specifying positions open for contest.
2. Nominations open — Eligible members submit nomination forms endorsed by two full members in good standing. Nominations close 30 days before election day.
3. Screening of candidates — The electoral committee reviews nominations for eligibility and confirms the approved candidate list.
4. Campaigning period — Approved candidates are given a designated period to address the membership through meetings and written statements.
5. Voting day — Elections are held by secret ballot at the AGM. Members may vote in person or, where permitted, by proxy.
6. Results & handover — Results are announced immediately after vote count. The outgoing executive leads a formal handover within 30 days.
