Making a Difference: Our Community Impact

OPAC believe in taking action to improve lives and build stronger communities. Our projects
span across education, welfare, culture, and community development, making tangible
differences in both Canada and Nigeria.

Life brings both joy and challenges. OPAC stands with members during significant life events:

Bereavement Support: $250 financial assistance when a member loses an immediate family member (spouse or parents)
Newborn Celebration: $250 savings bond/mutual fund for each newborn child of members
Disaster Relief: $250 emergency assistance for members affected by natural disasters or catastrophes
Financial Assistance Loans: Interest-free loans available to members in good standing through our financial committee

Cultural Preservation Programs

We actively work to preserve and promote Egba cultural heritage through organized cultural events and celebrations, teaching of Yoruba language and Egba traditions, documentation of Egba history and customs, and participation in Egba National Association conventions and the biennial “Lisabi Day Celebration.”
